报告摘要（Abstract）：
This presentation showcases the diverse applications of multimedia technology, spanning industry sectors across agriculture, food, to healthcare. It begins with a case study on data acquisition for grain crops, followed by the design of a multispectral imaging system for nut grading and aflatoxin detection. The discussion will then cover multi-object tracking in agricultural applications and strategies for optimising performance on resource-constrained embedded systems. The presentation will conclude with an overview of broader research activities and future directions at the University of South Australia's Multimedia Systems Laboratory.
专家简介（Bio）：
现任阿德莱德大学/南澳大学副教授，可持续基础设施与资源管理研究中心（SIRM）技术开发负责人，国家超速计算资源分配计划（NCMAS）科学咨询委员会委员。曾任多伦多瑞尔森大学助理教授、台北佳得公司软件工程师、悉尼思科系统公司软件工程师。参与澳大利亚同步辐射中心第四代同步辐射光源“未来光源”项目X射线成像方法工作组成员。现任IEEE Transactions on Multimedia副编辑，曾任IEEE Communications Reviews and Tutorials编委和IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems客座编辑。曾多次担任国际会议主席或程序主席，包括2026年IEEE多媒体信息处理与检索国际会议（MIPR）、2013年澳大拉西亚计算机科学周会议（ACSW）以及2008年ACMCIVR等。主持或参与各类科研项目37项（其中19项为独立或首席研究员），包括ARC Research Hub for Intelligent Contaminant-Sensing in complex Environments (IC-SensE Hub)的5名主申报人之一及Program-2 co-lead。发表百余篇学术论文，包括IEEE TIP/ TMM/ TCSVT/ TNNLS, ACM TOIS/TKDD, Advanced Functional Materials, Food Chemistry, Agricultural Computers and Electronics等期刊,以及NeurIPS, AAAI, SIGIR, JCDL等会议。入选The Australian Research Magazine 2024年度研究领域领军人物榜单，2022/2023年REDIFellow，2020年Joint Conference on Digital Libraries（JCDL）最佳论文奖，2015年SPIE Defense and Security Conference洛克希德·马丁最佳论文奖，2007年Pacific Rim Multimedia Conference最佳论文奖。
